The room is large with 2 beds.

The price was cheap.

It was nasty-dirty. The room had stains on the walls and smelled of cigarettes. All of the furniture and carpets were old and worn. Scary neighborhood. Police issuing warrants in the morning was a bad sign. And there are tacky signs all over place saying what you can't do. Including notes to the staff to not eat the continental breakfast. The "breakfast" consisted of 4 muffins. They were out of everything else.

the room was very grimy and sleezy/ dirty. there was a cigarette burn on the blanket/ cover. The room smelled like smoke (non-smoking room)

The hotel has comfortable location close to downtown. Staff is respectful and you can park your car nearby. The rooms are large, with an ashtray, a Jacuzzi plus a shower provided...

A few suggestions for improvement, the lobby's charm didn't extend to the rooms with hard beds!!! A microwave and fridge would be wonderful, and how about there being actual furniture to sit on? Keep trying!!!

Slept well

The free wi-fi claim was disappointing. I stayed three rooms away from the lobby and could not get service, but as soon as I stepped into the lobby, I got reception.

Since I'm traveling with a car, the location of the hotel is easy for me to get around and it's not too far from the downtown. Also, I find the price pretty reasonable.

The manager of the hotel doesn't seem welcoming.

Room stank of smoke. Felt unsafe.

It was quite and clean.

I didn't get the king size bed I requested which caused my husband and I not to be able to sleep very well being in separate beds. That was the only problem I had there; however I didn't understand the breakfast, there was only muffins and coffee.

Only stayed overnight with no desire other than a bed and a hot shower. Didn't explore the hotel or the neighborhood, so can't really offer any informed comments.

Showing it's age, been awhile since last updated.

Free Wi-Fi was accessible, but the dirty bathroom left much to be desired.

Hotel requires immediate total refurbishment (which is planned apparently) breakfast is very limited, would not recommend until refurb happens

It should be condemned, our room had the worse stench present. Filty from age, abuse and neglect. Heater/air did not work to adjust temp as knobs just turned from being broken. Continental breakfast consisted of coffee, oj and pastry.In a very skeptable area of the city. Got to hotel at 11 pm with my son and friend. Tried to find another hotel without luck as National ffa in the city. Lots of traffice at 11:00 pm in and out of hotel that did not have luggage. As we tried to find a different hotel desk clerk informed me that this was the best hotel in the area and the other 2 hotels close were drug infested. From what I witnessed so was this place.

great park views and nearby attractions for city strolls

I appreciated the easy access to the Indiana State Police Museum, just around 4 km away, and the surrounding park spaces made my walks refreshing, even if the hotel itself could definitely use some upgrades.

The price and closeness to Indianapolis.

This was not good. My confirmation states ' Meal Plan - Dinner is included in the room rate'. It was not. The main reason I chose this hotel was the inclusion of the meal in the price. The first room they gave me had the air conditioner laying on the floor (out of the wall). Only 1 ice machine worked in the entire building. No hot water on my second day there. A person cleaning carpets warned me about leaving my motorcycle in the parking lot - that it could be stolen. So I ended up chaining (yes chaining) it together with my son's motorcycle each night. This was not what Booked.net promised. I feel that I deserve a refund - or at least a certificate for a 2 night stay at other Choice Hotels.
